An additional 8,62,080 AstraZeneca vaccines against corona have arrived in Nepal. More AstraZeneca vaccines arrived on Monday through the COVAX facility with the help of the British government, said Dr. Surendra Chaurasiya, head of the service department’s management division.
Out of the 2,174,160 doses of vaccines coming through COVAX with the help of the British government, 8,62,080 doses have arrived today, said Chief Dr. Chaurasiya. The remaining 13 lakh 12 thousand 80 vaccines will arrive on February 14. Chaurasiya said. The Government of Nepal has so far received four crore 57 lakh 8 thousand 640 doses of corona vaccine for purchase and assistance.
