Preliminary results of the national census will be made public on Wednesday. The Central
Statistics Department under the Planning Commission is preparing to make public the
preliminary results of the National Census-2078 BS.
The on-site work of the census was carried out in the first phase from 30 Bhadra 2078 to 18 Asoj and in the second phase from 25 Kartik 2078 to 9 Mangsir 2078.
The preliminary results of the first census in the country after the Constitution of Nepal, 2072 BS will be made public by holding a virtual press conference on Wednesday, said Dhundi Raj Lamichhane, director of the department.
