Kathmandu, January 25
The District Election Office, Kanchanpur, has suspended the service from today until further
notice after the office staff was affected by the corona infection.
The office has issued a public notice stating that the service has been suspended due to the
presence of Covid-19 in the employees working in different fields of the office and other
employees also showing symptoms of corona.
Until further notice, all work related to voter list compilation and updating has been suspended except for the internal affairs of the office.
Earlier, the Election Office had been working through the token system for compiling and
updating the voter list.
