The Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist Center) will decide on the standing committee and
politburo from the next meeting. Similarly, the Maoist center is preparing to share the
responsibilities of the central members.
The CPN (Maoist Centre) is preparing to suspend the office bearers from the election if there is no consensus from the Central Committee meeting to be held on Magh 27. Chairman of the CPN (Maoist Centre) Pushpa Kamal Dahal has issued a circular on Saturday stating that the division of labor will be done by completing the remaining Central Committee.
If the Standing Committee and the Politburo, including the office bearers, cannot be decided by consensus, the Maoists have internal preparations to resolve the issue through elections from the Central Committee.
The Central Committee was announcing the eighth general convention of the CPN (Maoist
Centre) held in Kathmandu from 11 to 18 Poush. Even after the Central Committee meeting
elected Dahal as the chairman, the work of other office bearers, standing committee, politburo, division of responsibilities of the leader and others remained.
Until the next decision of the Central Committee, the in-charge of all the previous provincial
committees, district coordination committees, departments and people’s organizations have
been retained.
