Kathmandu, January 23
Human Rights and Peace Society has demanded the dismissal of Minister for Physical
Infrastructure and Transport Renu Yadav for making violent statements.
In a statement issued on Sunday, the society demanded the dismissal of Minister Yadav’s recent statement in Rautahat saying that it was against the dignity and democratic dignity of the post.
Stating that Minister Yadav’s statement would promote crime, the society has urged Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba to dismiss him from the post of minister.
The society has also condemned the chaotic and disorderly activities of the CK Raut-led Janmat Party.
At a program organized in Rautahat on Wednesday, Minister Yadav had warned that the Gaur massacre would be repeated targeting Janmat Party Chairman CK Raut.
At a program organized by the then CPN-Maoist in Gaur of Rautahat on Chaitra 7 2063, the
cadres of the then Madhesi Judges’ Rights Forum attacked it.
Twenty-seven Maoist cadres were killed in the attack. The then forum was led by JSP Chairman Upendra Yadav. Yadav-led Jaspa is now in the government.
