Snowfall in the Sahara Desert

Kathmandu, January 21

Snow has fallen in the Sahara Desert. According to the BBC, light snow has fallen in the Sahara Desert in northwestern Nigeria.

The first snowfall was here in 1979. It was considered amazing at that time. But since then,
there was snowfall in 2021, 2018 and 2017. Therefore, snowfall in the Sahara Desert is now considered normal.

The snowfall occurred when the minimum temperature in the Sahara Desert reached minus 2 degrees Celsius. The maximum temperature here reaches 58 to 60 degrees Celsius.

The Sahara Desert now has a beautiful view as it is filled with light snow. That scene was
captured on camera by Karib Bocheta, a photographer for Bao Media. The photo is going viral on social media.
