Meeting of five-party coordination committee postponed

A meeting of the five-party coordination committee scheduled to be held today to discuss local level elections has been postponed.

The meeting was scheduled to be held at the PM’s residence in Baluwatar at 4 pm. However, the meeting was postponed due to lack of preparation.

Earlier, in a meeting of the committee held on Tuesday, CPN (Maoist Centre) Chairman
Prachanda had proposed to hold parliamentary elections in Baishakh and local elections in
Kartik. It was said that the meeting would be held today after doing more homework.
