A woman has died of corona infection in Saptari district. A 75-year-old woman of Rupani
Gaonpalika-1 of Saptari has died from corona.
She was admitted to Gajendra Narayan Singh Hospital in Rajbiraj after contracting fever on
Magh 1. Swab was taken on the 2nd for PCR test. On Magh 3, the same day the report came positive, she died while undergoing treatment, said Duniya Lal Yadav, acting head of the district public health office. “Even though the woman was vaccinated, she had been taking insulin for a long time due to diabetes,” he said.
Chief Yadav said that out of 75 swabs collected for PCR on Magh 2, 65 reports were positive. With this, the number of corona positives in Saptari has reached one hundred and five. Yadav said most of those infected were from security agencies and the courts. They are in home isolation.
