There is a possibility of light rain in some parts of the hilly terrain today due to the influence of westerly winds.
According to the Department of Water and Meteorology, there is a possibility of light rain in
some parts of the hilly terrain due to partial cloud cover in Province No. 1, 2 and Far Western Province due to the effect of the system. The weather in other parts of the country is generally said to be clear.
Similarly, there is a possibility of light rain in one or two places in the hilly areas of Province No. 1, Bagmati and Gandaki with partial cloud cover in Province No. 1, Bagmati and Gandaki on Magh 1, according to the Weather Forecast Division.
The department has issued warnings and advice for the next 24 hours and requested all to take necessary safety and precaution to avoid the cold and its effects as the cold is still on the rise across the country.
According to the latest report of the Weather Forecast Division, the minimum temperature in Kathmandu Valley is 4.6 degrees Celsius and the maximum temperature is 16.5 degrees Celsius.
Similarly, the minimum temperature of Jumla was minus 5.4 degrees Celsius and the maximum temperature of Janakpur was 22.8 degrees Celsius.
