The Ministry of Social Development, Karnali Pradesh, has advertised to hire employees on
health service contracts. The ministry has advertised for 150 doctors and health workers.
As per the decision of the cabinet meeting of the Karnali state government held on Poush 21, the ministry has published a notice to hire doctors and health workers.
Ministry spokesperson Bishnu Prasad Adhikari informed that advertisements have been made to fill the vacancies in the hospitals and health service offices under the ministry.
A spokesperson for the Ministry of Social Development, Karnali Pradesh Hospital and the Public Service Commission said that the advertisement was made on the condition that the
permanent staff would not be automatically present. According to him, the information has
been published with a period of 15 days for the service contract.
The ministry has demanded 150 doctors and health workers, including 54 for the ninth level doctors, 21 for the eighth level including 20 medical officers, 16 for the seventh level, 50 for the fifth level including 38 staff nurses and nine for the fourth level. Their remuneration and service conditions will be as per the rules of Karnali State Government.
