North Korea says Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un has successfully tested a hypersonic missile
under his supervision.
According to the state-run news agency KCNA, the missile was tested on Tuesday and aimed at a target about 1,000 kilometers away.
After Kim Jong Un’s speech on the occasion of the English New Year 2022, North Korea test-fired two missiles in a week. The last test was on Tuesday.
South Korea and Japan were the first to detect information that both missiles were tested. Only then did North Korea’s state news agency KCN report that the missile had been tested.
The missiles were fired from North Korean soil into the sea. The hypersonic missile tested by North Korea is said to be more radical than the ballistic missile.
