The UML has postponed the date of the state convention, which will now be held on 28 and 29 Magh

The date of UML’s state convention has been postponed. UML had made public the schedule of holding conventions in 330 states on Magh 8.

However, with the resurgence of the Covid epidemic, the UML’s state convention has also been affected. Corona infection has been spreading rapidly lately. Meanwhile, the UML district convention is underway. The government has banned more than 25 people from gathering.

The UML has postponed the date of the state convention as the chief district officers of
Kathmandu, Lalitpur and Bhaktapur districts are preparing to ban gatherings and ceremonies in public places.

UML Publicity Department Deputy Chief Bishnu Rijal informed that the state convention
scheduled for Magh 8 has been postponed. He said that the UML’s state conventions scheduled for Magh 8 have been postponed to Magh 28 and 29.
