Kathmandu, January 11
A 12-year-old goat fair has been postponed in Trivenighat of Kavre’s Panauti Municipality-7 due to the third wave of corona virus.
A meeting of the District Covid Management Committee (DCMC) today decided not to hold the fair in January. A meeting chaired by DCMC Coordinator and Chief District Officer Uddhav KC decided to request the fair organizing committee not to hold any gathering or festival in any public place in the district.
According to the DCMC, the government has decided not to hold any fairs and festivals and not to accommodate more than 25 people.
According to the DCMC, the festival has been postponed as the risk of corona virus infection is increasing day by day.
