President Bidya Devi Bhandari has laid a wreath at the statue of Nation Builder Prithvi Narayan Shah. On the occasion of the 300 th Prithvi Jayanti and National Unity Day, President Bhandari laid a wreath at the statue of Shah in front of the west gate of Singha Durbar today.
Similarly, Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Prem Ale and National Democracy
Leader Kamal Thapa laid wreaths at the statue of Shah.
On the occasion, a team of Nepal Army offered salute to President Bhandari. Since 2063 BS, the government has reduced the leave on Prithvi Jayanti and National Unity Day.
