Considering the risk of Covid-19 epidemic, the government has made it compulsory for the
passengers of domestic flights to get vaccinated card.
Today’s meeting of the Covid-19 Crisis Management Coordination Center (CCMC) has decided to make arrangements to provide boarding pass only to the passengers who have vaccination card in domestic flights from Magh 3.
CCMC spokesperson and joint secretary Sunita Nepal informed that it has been decided that the passengers arriving at the airport for air flight should show the mandatory vaccination card.
CCMC has also requested the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation to adjust the flight schedule to reduce the congestion in domestic and international flights.
Similarly, it has been decided to reduce the crowds and gatherings in public places with effect from 3rd Magh and to make it mandatory to enter hotels, restaurants, cinema halls and stadiums only with the vaccine card against covid.
Nineteen airlines, including 10 helicopters, are providing domestic services through Tribhuvan International Airport. Internationally, 30 airlines including three Nepalese have been flying, after the second wave of Covid, now 20 airlines including two Nepalese are operating flights.
