National Assembly Election Code of Conduct to be implemented from today

The code of conduct for the National Assembly elections has been implemented from today. The Election Commission has not implemented the election code of conduct from today to maintain cleanliness, fairness, transparency and a fear-free environment.

The Election Commission has stated that the code of conduct has been implemented specifically for individuals, bodies and officials. The commission has also issued instructions to the stakeholders to ensure full compliance as legal action will be taken in case of violation of the code of conduct. There are 43 candidates in the 19-member National Assembly election to be held on Magh 12.

The Commission has given the publication of the final list of candidates and the election symbol to the office of the Election Officer of the same province for the National Assembly election.
