Kathmandu, January 7.
A meeting of the High-Level Political Coordination Committee of the ruling five-party alliance has decided to take initiative to run the parliament. A meeting held at the Prime Minister’s residence in Baluwatar on Friday decided to take initiative for the smooth functioning of the blocked parliament.
Minister for Communications and Information Technology Gyanendra Bahadur Karki said that blocking the parliament was not appropriate in any way. He said that the role and duty of the opposition would be the same as that of the government to make the parliament run smoothly.
Similarly, the meeting of the committee also discussed the upcoming National Assembly
election on Magh 12, he said.
