Meeting of High-Level Coordination Committee continues in Baluwatar

Kathmandu, January 6.

A meeting of the High-Level Coordination Committee is being held at the Prime Minister’s
official residence in Baluwatar. The meeting, which started at 9 am, discussed the upcoming
visit of Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba to India, National Assembly elections, MCC and
other issues.

The committee headed by Nepali Congress leader Ram Chandra Poudel has members from the top five parties of the ruling party. Leader Poudel and Krishna Prasad Sitaula from the Nepali Congress, Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda and Leader Narayan Kaji Shrestha from the CPN-Maoist Center, Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal from the CPN-Unified Socialist Party, Chairman of the Janata Samajwadi Party Upendra Yadav and Chairman Chitra Bahadur KC and Vice Chairman Durga Poudel from the Rastriya Janamorcha.

Leader Poudel’s personal secretary Chiranjeevi Adhikari informed that the meeting would also discuss the issue of ending the obstruction being made by the CPN-UML in the House of Representatives. Leader Poudel had a meeting with UML Chairman KP Oli at his residence in Baluwatar on Wednesday.
