Complaint demanding dismissal of Binod Chaudhary’s post of Congress central member

Kathmandu, January 6

A complaint has been lodged with the party demanding the resignation of Nepali Congress
central member Binod Chaudhary.

General Committee member of Siraha Constituency No. 3 Dr. Subhash Chandra Yadav has
lodged a complaint at the party’s central office and the Central Election Commission seeking dismissal of Chaudhary’s post.

According to the Congress constitution, he should have been an active member of the party for 10 consecutive years to become a central member, but Yadav has argued that Chaudhary could not become a central member as he joined the party only in 2074 BS.
Stating that Chaudhary has become a central member illegally, Yadav has demanded to dismiss him and make him a central member.

Industrialist Chaudhary was elected central member from the Madhesi (open) quota at the 14th General Convention of the Nepali Congress.

Along with the complaint letter, Yadav has also submitted proof that Binod Chaudhary had
become a CA member from UML in the past.
