National Assembly candidates will not be allowed to spend more than three and a half lakh rupees in the election

Kathmandu. There is a limit on the amount that a candidate for National Assembly election can spend. The Election Commission has set a limit of Rs 350,000 per candidate.

Similarly, the expenditure limit has been fixed at Rs 350,000 including Rs 10,000 for
transportation, Rs 100,000 for seminar interaction, Rs 14,500 for other publicity, print and
electronic media, Rs 70,000 for office operation, Rs 30,000 for representative mobilization and Rs 3,000 for miscellaneous expenses. Nominations for the election have been registered on Tuesday. Election for National Assembly members is being held on 12 Magh.
