Kathmandu, January 5
The third convention of Private and Residential Schools Organization Nepal (PABSON) Lumbini has unanimously selected a 13-member provincial committee under the chairmanship of Lal Hari Pandey of Butwal.
Rishikesh GC (Banke), Keshav Sapkota (Kapil Bastu), Govind Poudel (Palpa), Dhanraj Chapagain (Nawalparasi) as Secretary, Amar Raj Subedi (Dang) as Treasurer and Tejnath Poudel (Bardiya) as Joint Secretary of the working committee. Mahesh Bhurtel (Rupendehi) has been selected as the co-treasurer.
Similarly, Sarada Gyawali (Rupendehi), Ramdev Yadav (Rupendehi), Upendra Gupta
(Nawalparasi), Vasudev Rijal (Dang) and Rajendra Kumar Acharya (Banke) have been selected as executive members.
The inauguration ceremony of the convention held at Kohalpur in Banke was presided over by Pabson Lumbini State President Ram Prasad Pandey and hosted by Lumbini State Minister for Forests and Environment Surendra Bahadur Hamal.

Kusum Ranabhat among others. He complained that education was the backbone of the state but that the Nepali government discriminated against it.
The financial report submitted by Treasurer Keshav Sapkota at the convention has been passed unanimously.
The convention was attended by 350 delegates from different districts of the province.
