Governor of Uttarakhand Lieutenant General Gurmeet Singh has visited Gunji, Nabi and Kutti areas of Nepali territory encroached by the Government of India. During the visit, Singh met with security forces and locals.
Singh visited the area on Saturday, the first day of the English New Year, while observing border road construction activities under the Border Roads Organisation.
India has been claiming the area. He said that he was happy to visit the remote village and BRO post for the first time.
On the occasion, Lieutenant Singh claimed that BRO had done a great job in infrastructure development of the border area.
