Currently the country is under the influence of western low-pressure system. According to the Meteorological Department, light to moderate rain is prevailing in most parts of the country and light snow is falling in high hilly and mountainous areas.
It is raining in Kathmandu at this time. Snowfall has started at Chandragiri, a major tourist
destination in Kathmandu, along with rain. General Manager of Chandragiri Hills Limited
Abhishek Bikram Shah informed that snowfall has started in Chandragiri.
