Closed session of the Maoist center today

The closed session of the CPN (Maoist Center) will start at 11 am on Monday at Pragya Bhawan. After holding the inaugural session on Sunday, the Maoists are going to hold a closed session at Pragya Bhawan in Kamaladi.

Standing Committee Member Janardan Sharma, who was also the announcer at the conclusion of the inaugural session, gave information about the closed session. In the closed session, the political report of Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, the legislature and other reports will be presented.

A total of 1,631 delegates and observers will participate in the closed session of the Maoists, which is portrayed as a general convention of ideas. Adding all the clusters, it is said that the number has increased a bit.

Representatives from seven geographical provinces and three non-geographical provinces are participating in the conference. There is a program to discuss the political report of Chairman Prachanda in a closed session.

A meeting of the Maoist held on Sunday morning has decided to elect a 299-member Central Committee including 15 office bearers. Even though the closed session will be held in the hall at Kamaladi, the management has been challenged as there are more delegates than the capacity of the hall.

Secretary of the Maoist Central Office, Shri Ram Dhakal, informed that there is an agenda to select a new leadership as soon as the political report is passed. The Maoists, who had
organized the national conference, had turned it into a general convention only on Saturday.

A meeting of the Central Committee held on Sunday morning had approved the decision of the Standing Committee on Saturday. Stating that it will build socialism with Nepali originality, the Maoists have mentioned that necessary preparations have been made to make the closed session systematic.
