The fourth wave of covid started in Europe with Omicron, the number of daily infections in France exceeded one million

In Europe, the daily incidence of Covid-19 is on the rise again. In many countries, the number of daily infections has reached an all-time high.

Amid the ongoing transition to the Delta variant, the number of new omikron infections has
begun to rise, and some European countries have been hit by the new covid wave. The number of daily infections in the UK, France and Italy is breaking new records, according to international media.

A total of 122,189 new infections were reported in the UK on Friday. In the last few days, the number of daily infected people has been setting new records. Similarly, the number of people infected with the new Omicron variant has reached almost one lakh.

The fourth wave of Covid-19 has started even in Italy. With the start of the fourth wave, the restrictive rules have been tightened. It is mentioned in the news that the people who have not been vaccinated in public places are not allowed to enter and they are required to wear mandatory mask when leaving.

On Friday, the number of daily infections in Italy reached its highest point since the outbreak began for the second day in a row. On Friday, 50,599 new infections were added, the highest number ever. A new record was set in Italy on Thursday with 44,595 new infections. According to the Italian news agency Ansa, the number of infected people had reached a high point of 40,902 on November 13 last year.

In France, for the third day in a row, Covid-19 infection has been confirmed in many people. One hundred and four thousand 611 people have been confirmed infected there on Friday. French officials are concerned about the effects of the rapidly spreading Omicron.
