Kathmandu, December 24
Nepali team has won the Asian Central Zone Volleyball Challenge Cup in Dhaka, Bangladesh for the second time in a row.
In Friday’s match, Nepal defeated Maldives in a straight set. Former winners Nepal defeated Maldives 25-11, 25-9, 25-5 in a one-sided match.
After two wins, Nepal is at the top of the table with 5 points. Nepal had beaten Sri Lanka 3-2 in the first match.
The top two teams will play in the final after the round robin league in the six-nation
competition.
Nepal will play its third match against Bangladesh on Saturday.
