Tribhuvan warns to take action against teachers participating in party elections

Kathmandu, December 23

Tribhuvan University has warned its teachers and staff to take action if they participate in
political party elections.

The staff publication division of Tribhuvan University has warned of departmental action saying that news has come that the staff and teachers of the university have participated in the general conventions and legislative conventions of the political parties.

The branch reminded that there is a provision of candidate in the political election in Rule 67 of the Rule 2050 regarding the teaching and staff service of the university and warned to take action if found doing so.

If you want to become a candidate from any party, you have to be nominated 15 days before the day of registration.

Earlier, during the Nepali Congress General Convention, the Supreme Court had also ordered to stop the teachers from voting.
