Kathmandu, December 23
The Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration has postponed the transfer of local level staff in view of the upcoming elections.
As the role of the staff will increase for the upcoming election, the transfer of staff has been stopped.
According to the secretary of the ministry, Suresh Adhikari, the transfer work has been
postponed for the time being so that it can be transferred to the inter-local level at an
appropriate time. He said that the transfer of the chief administrative officer, engineer and
other employees sent by the union to the local level has not been stopped.
A statement issued by the ministry said that the work related to the assignment of permanent employees recommended by the Public Service Commission at the local level has been postponed till further arrangements.
