State ministries reached 69 by splitting

Kathmandu, December 21.

Without studying and preparing for the distribution, the state governments have started
splitting the ministry. At present, the number of provincial ministries across the country
has reached 69.

With the exception of Province 1 and the Far Western government, all provincial
governments have split ministries. The Bagmati state government is in the forefront to
split the ministry. Bagmati has split the ministry into 14 ministries, including the chief
minister’s office.

According to the Ministry of Federal Affairs, the state governments have split the
ministry without conducting an organization and management survey. The state
government have not been able to send staff as demanded.

Spokesperson of the Ministry of Federal Affairs Vasant Adhikari said that the state
governments did not inform the Ministry of Federal Affairs when the ministry was split.

It is said that there is a shortage of staff in all ministries after the split.
