Police have arrested a Bangladeshi national with about 333 grams of gold from Tribhuvan
International Airport.
Among the arrested is 35-year-old Asraful Ijlam, a Bangladeshi national carrying passport
number EN098781. He was on his way to Bangladesh from Dubai via Kathmandu on a Himalayan Airlines flight when police at the airport arrested him while checking his hand luggage.
Police have also recovered 333 grams of gold from him along with two yellow metal biscuits
and a 100 gram chain roll. He has been sent to Gauchar Airport Security Office for necessary investigation and action.
