Clashes between two groups in Siraha: One killed; East- West highway blocked

Kathmandu, December 19

One person has been killed in a stabbing incident between two groups in Siraha.

According to Subash Budathoki, Deputy Superintendent of Police, District Police Office, the
clash took place at Golbazar Municipality-6 on Saturday night. One person was killed, and another was injured in the clash, said Budathoki.

The deceased has been identified as Ram Kumar Sada, 26. He was rushed to RK Medicity
Hospital for treatment. He was pronounced dead at the scene Similarly, Nikesh is always seriously injured. He is also undergoing treatment. According to police, 6-7 people from both sides clashed. They are now absconding.

Police are searching for those involved in the incident. The cause of the incident has not been disclosed, police said.

Meanwhile, locals have blocked the Golbazar section of the East-West Highway demanding
action against the culprits, said Basant Kumar Lama, Ward Chairman of Ward No. 6.
