Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has convened an all-party meeting today.
According to his chief personal secretary Bhanu Deuba, Prime Minister Deuba has convened an all-party meeting at his official residence in Baluwatar at 4 pm today to discuss the stalemate in the federal parliament. He said that the top leaders of the parties represented in the parliament were invited to the meeting.
Prime Minister Deuba had earlier discussed with Chairman of the ruling party CPN (Maoist
Center) Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ about ending the stalemate in the parliament. The
main opposition party, the CPN (UML), has been blocking the parliament for a long time.
