Oli’s projection: Not only the first, the majority UML!

CPN-UML Chairperson KP Sharma Oli has projected that his party will not only be the first but also the majority party in the upcoming three-tier election. He also said that the ruling coalition ould succeed in strengthening and uniting its forces in the face of activities against the nation, the people and the communist movement.

Issuing the first inter-party directive after the tenth general convention, Chairman Oli said that if the policies, programs and decisions put forward by the UML were successfully implemented, the UML would become not only the first but also the majority party in the next three-tier election.

‘Local, state and House of Representatives elections will be held within a year from now. There is a constitutional and legal provision that local elections should be held within Baishakh. The first inter-party directive issued by Oli states, “With the successful implementation of these decisions, our party is sure to be established not only as the first party but also as the majority party in the forthcoming three-tier election.” Chairman Oli has even called on all leaders and activists to move in that direction.

UML Chairman Oli has also claimed that the UML is becoming more popular among the people today than yesterday despite the planned attacks against the UML party and its leadership in the name of creating instability and preventing political stability in Nepal.

Chairman Oli also said that he would form a common party of all Nepalis who stand for
independence and self-respect and would move forward as a party with the support of Nepalis who aspire for development and prosperity. He also stressed on the need to develop the CPN (UML) as a common party of all progressive and leftist forces, agreeing to lay the groundwork for socialism under the guidance of people’s multi-party democracy.

“For that, we have decided to run the message of the general convention and the party entry campaign from the second meeting. “We have put forward an important action plan to organize the organizational work of the party and the people’s organization as per the guidelines of the General Convention,” said Chairman Oli in inter-party directive.
