National Assembly election on Magh 12

Kathmandu, December 17

The Election Commission has decided to hold the National Assembly election on Magh 12. The commission has scheduled the registration of candidates for the National Assembly election on Paush 20, filing a complaint against the candidature on Paush 21, scrutinizing the decision on Paush 22 and 23, withdrawing the name of the candidate on Paush 24 and publishing the final list of candidates on Paush 25.

The commission has stated that the election symbol will be provided to the candidates on
Paush 25 and voting will be held at the designated polling stations on Magh 12 from 9 am to 3 pm. For that, the commission has approved the voter list on Thursday.

Among the voters of the National Assembly, there are 532 members of the Provincial Assembly and 1,093 village chairpersons and vice chairpersons and chiefs and deputy chiefs of the municipalities.
