Chairman of the CPN-Maoist Center Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has claimed that his analysis regarding the stock market is correct.
According to Prachanda, his analysis is in the interest of the party and millions of investors.
In a press release issued on Thursday, Prachanda said, “I would like to make it clear that our analysis of the character of today’s capitalism is correct and that our party and I, too, are in favor of the interests of millions of investors in the context of Nepal’s stock market.”
Recently, a section has been protesting the statement made by Prachanda regarding the stock market. Share investors have called Prachanda a ‘no vote’ campaign, calling him ‘anti-capital market’. CPN-UML Chairperson KP Sharma Oli also protested against Prachanda’s remarks at the swearing-in ceremony of
the nominated central members on Thursday.
In this regard, Prachanda wrote in a statement, “I reject the remarks made by Oli, who has strayed far from Marxism and communist doctrine, on his analysis of globalized imperialism and financial monopoly capitalism as the remarks of agents of the middle class.”
In a statement, Maoist Central Committee Chairman Prachanda also refuted Oli’s allegation that he and former King Gyanendra had reached a five-point agreement.
