Gagan-Bishwa Prakash’s lead after counting 600 ballot papers

The counting of votes for the post of General Secretary of the 14th General
Convention of the Nepali Congress, which started on Thursday, is continuing.
According to the Election Committee, Gagan Thapa got the highest number of 389
votes out of 600. Similarly, Bishwa Prakash Sharma got 229 votes while Pradip
Poudel got 207 votes. Gagan-Bishwa Prakash has taken the lead in the counting of
votes.

Similarly, Prakash Sharan Mahat got 193 votes and Minendra Rijal got 107 votes.
Similarly, Rajaram Karki has got 18 votes. When there is a competition between
six candidates for the post of General Secretary of the Nepali Congress, one voter
can cast his vote for two candidates. That is, two people can vote on one ballot
paper.
