CPN-UML Chairperson KP Sharma Oli has claimed that there was a secret alliance between Maoist
Center Chairperson Prachanda and former King Gyanendra Shah in the past.
Oli claims that Gyanendra took over the government on January 3 due to his alliance with Prachanda.
Addressing the swearing-in ceremony of the nominated central members in Lalitpur on Wednesday, Oli said,
‘Nationality on the outside, collusion with reactionaries on the inside'
After that, there was a five-point agreement between Gyanendra and Prachanda. Against whom was the
agreement reached?
Oli claims that Gyanendra held a congratulatory program in Rolpa and Rukum districts after the same
agreement. ‘Democratic power Rukum Rolpa cannot step in, leaders cannot go, leaders there will be
killed. Go to Gyanendra and welcome him there, ‘said Oli.
He further said, “Here in Kathmandu, we saw a warm welcome from Thapathali to Mangalbazar.” Who
were the greeters? How was the youth abused? How was he misled? ‘
Oli accused Prachanda of talking about revolution and nationalism on the outside but colluding with
reactionary forces on the inside. Oli said that Nepal was the victim and now they are being hit.
“It’s a matter of revolution on the outside, nationalism on the outside, a kind of change on the outside,
reactionary alliances on the inside,” Oli said.
