The delegates were outraged when the turn did not come even after waiting in line for hours

The delegates of the 14th General Convention of the Nepali Congress have been indignant saying that it is not their turn to vote even after waiting in line for a long time.

The delegates were outraged saying that the Election Committee did not allow the voters to enter even after standing in line for hours.

Nearly 2,000 people have cast their votes at two polling stations in Brikuti Mandap and one in Rastriya Sabha House till 5 pm. According to those who returned after casting their ballots, it would take half an hour to one hour for one candidate to cast his vote.

4,723 delegates to the General Convention will vote for the selection of Central Committee office bearers and members. The Election Committee has extended the voting time till 9 o’clock.
