UML said: The strike of the Supreme Court is a fight between factions within the judges

The CPN-UML has commented that the agitation taking place in the Supreme Court was a fight between two factions of judges.

At a press conference on Thursday, UML Deputy General Secretary Pradip Gyawali termed the agitation in the Supreme Court demanding the resignation of Chief Justice Cholendra Shamsher JB Rana as a quarrel between the two factions of the judge.

“The current strike is a factional fight within the judiciary. Some judges may think that by removing one person, that position can be reached,” he said.

Gyawali also said that the current agitation would not improve the judiciary.
