Former Indian Army chief Bipin Rawat has been killed in a helicopter crash.
At least 11 people, including his wife and his family members, were killed when an Indian Air Force MI series helicopter crashed in the Coimbatore area of Tamil Nadu.
According to Indian media, Rawat was on his way to Wallington from Coonoor. The cause of helicopter crash has not been disclosed. Two bodies have been found so far and three others have been rescued.
