Prime Minister and Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba has said that local election will be held in the next few months.
Addressing the party convention of Province No. 1, Chairman Deuba instructed the leaders and cadres to prepare for the local election in a few months and federal and provincial election within a year.
Chairman Deuba has also instructed all the party leaders and cadres to unite and focus in the election so as to win the trust of people. “We will go to the federal and state elections within a year. Therefore, we should focus on election at all three levels after the general convention,” he said.
He claimed that it was confirmed that only the Nepali Congress would lead the development and prosperity of the country and expressed confidence that the state convention would further strengthen the party.
