Although I am not the Prime Minister, I am still strong in the alliance: Prachanda

CPN (Maoist Centre) Chairman Prachanda has said that he is still strong in the alliance even though he is not the Prime Minister. Stating that there would be no problem in the development work as he was strong in the alliance, he also claimed that politics was involved in exploiting the Chure. He said in a program organized by the party in Mahottari on Wednesday,” I will do my best to protect the forests and lands of Madhes.”

He also said that he would work for energy and irrigation in the Terai Madhes. Stating that he is committed to make better arrangements for irrigation in the entire Madhes, he said that the farmers affected by meter interest have informed him about everything.

Claiming that there would be no welfare of Madhes till Province 2 is captured by the Maoists, he directed the leaders and cadres to work for strengthening the party in Province 2.

Warning that if anyone cheated for the amendment of constitution, they would be removed from the streets, Chairman Prachanda said that the people were removed from the streets as KP Sharma Oli did not amend the constitution for Madhes.
