The government has requested not to rent a house/ room/ apartment to anyone without an identity card. The Ministry of Home Affairs issued a statement on Monday saying that foreign nationals have infiltrated through the border and started living in Nepal, urging not to rent a house to anyone without an identity card.
Police on Monday arrested 11 Afghan nationals on their way to India from Bhairahawa in Kathmandu’s Sinamangal. After that, the Ministry of Home Affairs has requested to ask for the identity card of the occupant when renting a room.
