We will discuss ‘early elections’ in the coalition meeting: PM

Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has said that discussions will be held in the coalition on ‘early elections’. Speaking at a press conference in Dhangadhi on Friday, Prime Minister Deuba, who is in the Far West to observe the flood-affected areas, said that a decision could be reached only after discussions in the coalition government.

He said, “There is a coalition government. That’s where the discussion takes place.” He said the US aid project Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) would be passed.

He said that false propaganda was being spread about MCC and that there was no need to amend it. He said, “MCC will pass. This is a big grant, not a loan. Such a large grant has come but they don’t need it either.” The Prime Minister said that immediate and long-term relief package would be brought to the flood and drowning victims.
