Dobate Bishwakarma, who has been appointed as a minister in Gandaki, took oath of office and secrecy on Monday. He was administered the oath of office and secrecy by state chief Prithiviman Singh Gurung.
Although a minister has been appointed, his ministry has not been specified. Earlier, on Shrawan 8, when Chief Minister Krishna Chandra Pokharel expanded the Council of Ministers, although Dobate was on the list to be a minister, he was removed at the last minute and Bindu Kumar Thapa had become a minister.
The removal of him from the list of ministers was opposed by the state government.
