Dissatisfaction in UML: Bhim Rawal absent from Central Committee meeting

CPN-UML Vice Chairman Bhim Rawal has been absent from the Central Committee meeting. Rawal was absent from the meeting, which began at 11 am Sunday. The meeting, which started on Friday, discussed the political, organizational and legislative amendment proposals to be submitted to the Legislative General Convention to be held on 15-17 Asoj.

The report was suggested by 10 groups. In today’s meeting, Chairman KP Sharma Oli, General Secretary Ishwor Pokharel and Deputy General Secretary Bishnu Poudel have responded to the suggestions from 10 groups. However, Vice President Rawal was absent from today’s meeting. Rawal had been expressing dissatisfaction with the non-implementation of the 10 points.

Asked about the 10-point implementation at Friday’s meeting, Rawal was told by Chairman Oli that a Standing Committee would be set up in the middle of the Central Committee to take necessary decisions. However, while Oli was preparing to conclude the Central Committee meeting on Sunday, Rawal was absent from the meeting as the Standing Committee was not convened till Sunday morning.
