Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has instructed the Chief and Deputy Chief of the Kathmandu Metropolitan Corporation to make arrangements for the collection of garbage as soon as possible due to the accumulation of garbage in Kathmandu.
He called the Chief of the Kathmandu Metropolitan Corporation Bidhya Sundar Shakya and Deputy Chief Hari Prabha Khadgi at the PM’s residence in Baluwatar today and directed them to make necessary arrangements for immediate collection of garbage. Prime Minister Deuba had said that there would be full support from the Government of Nepal.
Stating that there will be coordination from other concerned government bodies as well, he directed to make arrangements for garbage collection in Kathmandu, according to the Prime Minister’s Secretariat.
