The Election Commission is identifying the party registration. Leaders including the proposed CPN-Unified Socialist Party Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal reached the commission at 11 am. Central members and MPs of the Unified Socialist Party and Mahantha Thakur’s Democratic Socialist Party were scheduled to be identified from 11:30 am to 2 pm today.
Citizenship certificate and identity card of Parliament Secretariat have been made mandatory for the central members for identification. Arrangements have been made for the central members and parliamentarians of both the parties to sign separately. Spokesperson Raj Kumar Shrestha has informed that the officials of the commission secretariat will be identified and its report will be submitted to the commission party.
