Campaign for the second dose of Verocell vaccine started across the country

Those who have received the first dose of the Verocell vaccine against Covid-19 will receive the second dose from today. Those who have completed 21 days after receiving the first dose of Verocell vaccine are being vaccinated with the second dose nationwide. The second vaccination campaign will be conducted till Shrawan 24.

Vaccination centers have been identified in all the municipalities of Kathmandu. Online News has written that you can go to the center where you can get the second dose of vaccine. Badri Bahadur Khadka, head of the Health Office Kathmandu, said that the citizens who come for the second dose vaccination must bring the first dose vaccination card and electronic (online form) registration number. According to Dr. Khadka, there are 1 lakh 65 thousand citizens who have been vaccinated for the first time since Asar 29.

The first dose of Verocell was given to people 55 years of age or older from 29 Asar. The second dose should be given within 21 days of taking the first dose. Earlier, the Ministry of Health had circulated a circular to all 77 district health offices to conduct a second dose vaccination campaign from Shrawan 22. Those who are yet to be vaccinated must go the Ministry of Health’s website and enter their details. The ministry has asked to make arrangements of vaccinate the people within the target group only on that basis.
