US Secretary of StateAntony Blinken is currently meeting with a representative of Dalai Lama in New Delhi, India. At a regular press conference, Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Zhou Lijian stressed that China will continue to oppose any official contact with the Dalai Lama by any means, and will take all necessary steps to protect its rights.
The Tibet issue is entirely China’s internal matter and no foreign power should interfere in it. The United States must put its commitment into action and stop interfering in China’s internal affairs over the Tibet issue.
